Loucura do poder ou o absurdo da violência no Estado? Um ensaio sobre Tempo Presente
Sob o estigma da barbárie contida nas raízes da formação do Brasil, o objetivo deste ensaio é contribuir à compreensão do atual estado da nação. Neste contexto, iremos abarcar as idiossincrasias do sistema de produção social do capital e aprofundar o debate acerca do fetichismo da modernidade. Em conformidade com o aporte teórico-histórico de autores da Teoria Crítica, em especial Walter Benjamin, Roberto Schwarz e Paulo Arantes, pretendemos desanuviar os contrastes da composição inorgânica da sociedade brasileira e, não obstante, da relação dialética entre cultura e violência na matriz do Estado-nação.

Abstract:
Under the stigma of barbarism contained in the roots of the formation of Brazil, the objective of this essay is to contribute to the understanding of the current state of the nation. In this context, we’ll cover the idiosyncrasies of the social production system of capital and deepen the debate about the fetishism of modernity. In accordance with the theoretical-historical contribution of authors of Critical Theory, especially Walter Benjamin, Roberto Schwarz and Paulo Arantes, we intend to elucidate the contrasts of the inorganic composition of Brazilian society and, nevertheless, of the dialectical relationship between culture and violence in the matrix of its Nation-State.
