LOGÍSTICA REVERSA COMO INSTRUMENTO DA GESTÃO DAS CADEIAS DE SUPRIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEIS – REVENDO A LITERATURA
O estudo sobre a logística reversa
tem contribuído de maneira significativa na busca
pela implantação das cadeias de suprimentos
sustentáveis e, consequentemente, ajudado
as organizações a se tornarem cada vez
mais competitivas, já que precisam atender
as regulamentações cada vez mais rígidas,
a crescente conscientização ambiental e
a diminuição de recursos naturais. Nessa
perspectiva, uma gestão de logística reversa
eficiente pode ser um componente importante
para uma cadeia de suprimentos sustentável.
O objetivo deste estudo é apresentar uma
breve visão do estado da arte sobre a logística
reversa e visualizá-la como instrumento
essencial para o funcionamento das cadeias
de suprimentos sustentáveis. Trata-se de uma
pesquisa exploratória, por meio de investigação
bibliográfica dos principais autores sobre o
tema em questão. Os resultados demonstram
que ainda verificam-se conflitos em relação à
gestão das cadeias de suprimentos, à gestão
da logística reversa e à gestão ambiental, o
que reforça a necessidade de pesquisas a
respeito destas temáticas abordadas, tanto aos
acadêmicos quanto aos profissionais gestores
destas áreas nas empresas.

Abstract:
The study about reverse logistics
has contributed significantly in the search for
the implementation of sustainable supply chains
and, consequently, helped organizations become
increasingly competitive, as they need to meet
the increasingly rigid regulations, increasing
environmental awareness and diminishing
natural resources. In this perspective, efficient
reverse logistics management can be an
important component for sustainable supply
chain. The aim of this study is to present a
brief vision of the state of the art on reverse
logistics and visualize it as an essential tool for
the functioning of sustainable supply chains.
It is an exploratory research, by means of
bibliographical research of the main authors on
the topic in question. The results show that there
are still conflicts in relation to the management
of supply chains, the management of reverse
logistics and environmental management,
which reinforces the need for research on these
topics addressed, both to the academics and for the managers of these areas in the
companies as well.
