LOGÍSTICA, MANEJO E TRATAMENTO DE RESÍDUOS DE CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL NA GRANDE SÃO LUÍS
O mercado da construção civil, na década de 2003-2013 obteve grande avanço para a Cidade de São Luís, assim como para todo o Brasil, desencadeando estudos e diversas políticas públicas para melhor aproveitamento dessa economia ativa na indústria da construção. A sustentabilidade, e a destinação do lixo, tornou-se ainda em meio ao século passado uma notória preocupação mundial, elevando mercados indiretos nesta área, como a venda do ‘lixo’ e sua gestão (captação, tratamento e disposição final, etc.), além de promover a atenção para o descarte, uso e reuso de materiais naturais e industriais, como os da construção civil. O foco deste trabalho esteve no percurso que inicia-se na compra do material e, deveria, finalizar na destinação de seus ‘restos’, especificamente os materiais da indústria da construção civil, particularmente os da Região Metropolitana da Grande São Luís, incluindo a Capital e maior mercado do Estado do Maranhão, a cidade de São Luís.

Abstract:
The civil construction market, in the 2003-2013 decade, made great progress for the city of São Luís, as well as for the whole of Brazil, triggering studies and several public policies for better use of this active economy in the construction industry. Sustainability, and the disposal of garbage, has become a notorious worldwide concern in the middle of the last century, raising indirect markets in this area, such as the sale of ‘garbage’ and its management (collection, treatment and final disposal, etc.). , in addition to promoting attention to the disposal, use and reuse of natural and industrial materials such as construction. The focus of this work was on the path that begins in the purchase of the material and should end in the destination of its ‘remains’, specifically the materials of the construction industry, particularly those of the Greater São Luís Metropolitan Region, including the and largest market in the state of Maranhão, the city of São Luís.
