LIVRO DE ARTISTA E O UNIVERSO DAS PALAVRAS: MIRA SCHENDEL E TORRES GARCÍA
O presente artigo tem como objetivo traçar relações entre a poética visual da artista brasileira Mira Schendel e do artista uruguaio Joaquín Torres García, demonstrando como ocorre o processo de exploração da palavra e da imagem em suas obras, a partir da produção de Livros de Artista. São traçadas algumas linhas acerca da conceituação teórica, com base nas leituras dos autores Ulises Carrión, Johanna Drucker, Paulo Silveira, entre outros. É feito um levantamento sobre experimentações visuais e materialidades, finalizando com os diálogos entre as obras desses artistas

Abstract:
This article aims to trace relationships between visual poetic of Brazilian artist Mira Schendel and Uruguayan artist Joaquín Torres García, demonstrating as it does the process of exploration of word and image in their works, thinking these dialogues from the artist books production. It starts with a few lines about the theoretical conceptualization, based on readings of authors Ulises Carrión, Johanna Drucker, Paulo Silveira, and others. It made a visual survey of trials and materialities, ending with the dialogues between the works of these artists.
