LITERATURAS AFRICANAS E AFRO-BRASILEIRAS: um resgate da cultura negra em prol da inserção social e eliminação de racismos e preconceitos
Este artigo tem o objetivo de demonstrar as contribuições que os estudos das Literaturas Africanas e Afro-brasileira podem trazer para a valorização da cultura negra no Brasil. Procura-se compreender os fatos e aspectos que culminaram na Lei 10.639/2003, apontando a relevância dos estudos das referidas literaturas como determinantes para a eliminação de preconceitos e racismos, contribuindo, assim, para a valorização de uma cultura que, por vezes, foi ignorada durante os períodos de Brasil – Colônia e Brasil Imperial. Analisa-se aqui a importância da educação multicultural e como esta educação poderá contribuir para a compreensão da história de formação do Brasil. Investe-se em pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, caracterizada pela pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Conclui-se que os estudos literários da literatura africana e afro-brasileira, em conjunto com os estudos históricos, viabilizam a compreensão de formação do povo brasileiro e das culturas africanas que foram importadas para o Brasil.

Abstract:
This paper has the aim to demonstrate the contributions of the studies on African and Afro-Brazilian Literatures are investigated in order to comprehend how those literatures can promote an African-Brazilian culture appreciation in Brazil. It was tried to understand the facts and aspects which contributed to the pronouncement of the Law # 10.639/2003, pointing to the relevance of the studies of those literatures as determiners to the elimination of prejudice and racism, thus, contributing to the value of a culture that was ignored during Brazil as a Colony and during the Imperial of Brazil. The importance of a multicultural education was analyzed, as well as how this education can contribute to the understanding of the history of the formation of Brazil. A qualitative research was conducted, characterized by bibliographic and documental researches. It was concluded that the studies on African and Afro-Brazilian Literatures, in combination with historical studies, enable the understanding of the formation of the Brazilian people, as well as African cultures, which were imported to Brazil.
