LITERATURA INFANTIL E A CONSTRUÇÃO DOS SABERES LOCAIS DA CULTURA AMAZONENSE NAS ESCOLAS DE ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL EM PARINTINS-AMAZONAS
A literatura infantil, no processo educacional escolar, apresenta-se como
instrumento significativo para a compreensão da realidade das crianças, na medida
em que oferece ao leitor/produtor o diálogo entre diferentes saberes. No cotidiano
do estudante que vive no estado do Amazonas, a literatura infantil apresenta-se
como um campo potencial para a afirmação e reconhecimento epistêmico dos
saberes culturais, visto que a natureza interdisciplinar do ato de ler envolve o diálogo
entre os conhecimentos das diversas áreas, cuja significação textual é construída
pela participação efetiva do leitor. Promove, ainda, o desenvolvimento da capacidade
crítica e formação de leitores a partir daquilo que conhecem. Este estudo objetiva
compartilhar processos de reflexão e práticas referentes à inclusão das literaturas
infantis regionais nos espaços escolares como forma de ampliar o crescimento
intercultural do pequeno leitor amazonense, dando a possibilidade de construir seus
saberes, abrindo horizontes no município para esta modalidade de leitura,
agregando outros e diversos saberes ao currículo escolar. As experiências emergiram
de um projeto de Extensão realizado por acadêmicos e professores do curso de
Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Amazonas. Este se desenvolveu a partir de
estudos bibliográficos, fichamentos, visitas às escolas, diálogos com professores,
realização de oficinas, contação de histórias, produção e ilustração de textos. As
atividades propostas desencadearam uma sequencia de pesquisas e ações
referentes ao campo da literatura infanto-juvenil regional, as quais evidenciaram a
necessidade de afirmação e reconhecimento epistêmico dos
conhecimentos/saberes locais dos habitantes parintinenses e sua inserção nos
currículos escolares por meio da literatura infantil.

Abstract:
Children's literature, in the school educational process, presents itself as
a significant instrument for understanding the reality of children, as it offers the
reader/producer a dialogue among different knowledges. In the daily life of students
living in Amazonas, children's literature is a potential field for the affirmation and
epistemic recognition of cultural knowledge, since the interdisciplinary nature of
reading involves the dialogue between the knowledge of the different areas, whose
textual meaning is built by the effective participation of the reader. It also promotes
the development of critical capacity and the formation of readers from what they
know. This study aims to share reflection processes and practices regarding the
inclusion of regional children's literatures in school spaces as a way to expand the
intercultural growth of the small Amazonian reader, giving the possibility of building
their knowledge, opening horizons in the municipality for this reading modality, adding
others and diverse knowledge to the school curriculum. The experiences emerged
from an Extension project carried out by academics and professors of the Pedagogy
course of the Federal University of Amazonas - campus of the city of Parintins-AM.
This one developed from bibliographical studies, annotations, visits to schools,
dialogues with teachers, realization of workshops, storytelling, production and
illustration of texts. The proposed activities triggered a sequence of researches and
actions related to the field of regional children's literature, which evidenced the need
for epistemic affirmation and recognition of the local knowledge of the inhabitants of
Parintins and its insertion in school curricula through children's literature.
