LITERATURA, HISTÓRIA E PATRIMÔNIO: HOMERO E RICK RIORDAN – DIÁLOGOS POSSÍVEIS / LITERATURE, HISTORY AND HERITAGE: HOMERO AND RICK RIORDAN - POSSIBLE DIALOGUES
Ao tomar a literatura como patrimônio cultural, o presente artigo objetiva apontar diálogos possíveis entre as obras Ilíada e Odisseia, de Homero, e a série infantojuvenil “Percy Jackson & Os Olimpianos”, do escritor norte-americano Rick Riordan. Assim, optamos por destacar trechos das obras dos autores, com o propósito de identificar a polifonia de vozes presente na série contemporânea, polifonia essa que pode remeter o leitor ao mundo dos clássicos gregos. Antes, porém, para melhor contextualizar a problemática em questão, levantamos algumas informações sobre a vida e obra dos autores referidos.

Abstract:
Considering literature as cultural heritage, this article aims to point out possible dialogues between Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey works and the children’s and youth series “Percy Jackson & the Olympians”, by the American writer Rick Riordan. Thus, we chose to highlight excerpts from the masterpieces of the authors, with the purpose of identifying the polyphony of the voices present in the contemporary series, which may lead the reader to the world of the Greek classics. Before, however, to better contextualize the question, we raised some information about the life and work of the authors. -
