Literatura e tecnologia: inspiração, invenção, transformação
O presente trabalho promove reflexões acerca da contribuição da literatura no campo dos avanços tecnológicos. Apresenta evidências de experimentos idealizados no imaginário das obras de Mary Shelley, Julio Verne e Stratemeyer Syndicate, e concretizados por inventores que, na maioria das vezes, se declaram inspirados pela leitura. Abordando a relação cíclica entre literatura e tecnologia, destacamos o atual contexto em que os inventos tecnológicos influenciam na forma de criação e disseminação de obras literárias de modo a evidenciar a convergência entre elas e a contribuição que essa relação traz para a humanidade facilitando a locomoção, salvando vidas e, acima de tudo, confirmando o poder criador da imaginação e da realização humana.

Abstract:
This paper promotes ponderations about the contribution of literature in the field of technological advances. It presents evidence of experiments idealized in the imaginary of the works of Mary Shelley, Julio Verne and Stratemeyer Syndicate, that were further materialized by inventors who, in most times, declare themselves inspired by reading. Aproaching the cyclical relationship between literature and technology, we highlight the current context in which technological inventions influence the form of creation and dissemination of literature works in order to evidence the convergence between them and the contribution that this relationship brings to humanity improving locomotion, saving lives and, above all, confirming the creative power of imagination and human realization.
