Linguagem e Tecnologia: uma experiência de ensino no Curso de Licenciatura em Letras
O texto apresenta a experiência
desenvolvida na disciplina de Linguagem e
Tecnologia, ministrada no VI semestre do Curso
de Licenciatura em Letras da Universidade
do Estado de Mato Grosso – Campus de Alto
Araguaia. A disciplina foi inserida na matriz
curricular visando preparar os alunos para
trabalharem com os suportes propiciados
pelas Tecnologias Digitais da Informação e
Comunicação (TDIC), principalmente no que se
refere ao ensino e à aprendizagem de língua
materna e de língua estrangeira. O desafio de
ministrar uma disciplina nova, voltada para uma
área de tamanha importância nos dias atuais e
que se inova num ritmo muito acelerado, trouxe
consigo a insegurança e, consequentemente,
muitas indagações. O caminho pretendido foi o
de, inicialmente, levar os alunos para fora da sala
de aula, na execução de um trabalho de prática
que proporcionasse o contato com a realidade
externa, com professores e alunos da educação
básica ou algum outro seguimento da sociedade
– grupos de adolescentes, grupo de idosos,
entre outros - sempre buscando compreender
como se dá a relação entre tecnologia e
educação e/ou indivíduos e tecnologias.
Posteriormente, os alunos aprendem a utilizar
alguns recursos tecnológicos que poderão
servir de apoio pedagógico em seu trabalho
futuro, como professores. Neste trabalho,
tratar-se-á mais especificamente das atividades
realizadas na carga horária específica de
prática como componente curricular que, por
meio do contato com a realidade externa,
conforme dissemos acima, tem proporcionado
o desenvolvimento de pesquisas instigantes
sobre a utilização das TDIC dentro e fora da
escola. Por meio desse trabalho na disciplina
alguns alunos tem desenvolvido produções
para publicação em revistas, apresentações
em eventos e para o Trabalho de Conclusão
de Curso – TCC. Acreditamos que o caminho
metodológico traçado para a disciplina propicia,
além do contato com os recursos tecnológicos,
um contato com a atividade de pesquisa
voltada para o trabalho docente, pois permite
compreender a realidade em que atuarão,
assim, esses futuros professores poderão ter
algum subsídio para melhor desenvolverem
sua prática docente.

Abstract:
The text presents the experience
developed by the subject Language and
Technology, given in the VI semester of Licentiate in Letters Course of the University
of Mato Grosso State - Alto Araguaia Campus. The subject was inserted on the
curriculum matrix focusing on preparing the students for work with the supports, given
by Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (TDIC), mainly in relation to
the teaching and learning of maternal language and foreign language. The challenge
of giving a new subject, about a important acting area nowadays and that innovates
itself at a rapid rate, brought with it the uncertainty and, consequently, plenty of
questions. The intended way was, firstly, take the students outside of classroom, in the
implementation of a practical work that give them the contact with the external reality,
with teachers and basic education students or any other social segment - adolescents
groups, elderly people group, among others - always seeking to understand how is its
relationship between technology and education and/or individuals and technologies.
Subsequently, the students learn to using some technological resources that may
serve as pedagogic support in their future work as teachers. The present work refers
specifically to the activities conducted in the hourly load of the practice as curriculum
part that, by means of contacts with the external reality, as stated above, has been
providing the development of stimulating researches about the using of the TDIC inside
and outside of the school. Through this work in the subject, some students have been
developing productions to publication in magazines, presentations in events and for
Course Conclusion Paper - TCC. We believe that the methodologic pathway for the
subject produces, in addition to contact with the technological resources, a contact with
the researching activity focus on teaching work, because it permits to understand the
realty that they will act. This way, those future teachers will be able to some subsidy to
develop their teaching practice.
