Abstract: Cutaneous lymphoma is an uncommon neoplasm in dogs, and its clinical presentation is highly pleomorphic, often mimicking various dermatopathies. Primary occurrence in the digits is even rarer and rarely described. In many cases, immunophenotyping is essential to determine the cell type involved in oncogenesis, as well as to predict biological behavior and therapeutic response. Thus, the aim of this report was to describe a case of cutaneous lymphoma with primary and exclusive involvement of a digit in a dog, using immunodiagnostic methods. An eight-year-old male Boxer was presented with a history of alteration in the right pelvic limb. Physical examination revealed ulceration, necrosis, and purulent discharge involving the plantar pads and phalanges of the affected limb. No lesions were observed in other cutaneous regions or mucocutaneous junctions, and the superficial lymph nodes were normal. The patient underwent an incisional biopsy of the lesion, followed by histopathological examination and immunohistochemical analysis. Histopathology revealed a malignant cutaneous round-cell neoplasm with an epitheliotropic pattern. Immunohistochemistry allowed the definitive diagnosis of non-epitheliotropic T-cell cutaneous lymphoma. The animal died, and a necropsy examination could not be performed.
