Abstract: The role of integrated leadership in management provides a better work environment for employees. Exercising the practice of motivating a team is essential for both parties, but it is not yet an exercise practiced by everyone in management. The objective of this study was to investigate how much leadership in school management can contribute to the motivation of teachers and other employees. Through Systematic Mapping [MS], articles were examined in the Journal Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel [CAPES], which allowed the study of 8 articles corresponding to the research theme. The study carried out considered the different actions that occur in the management of a school and the change that leadership provides when executed together. It analyzes the importance of motivation and how it is necessary to maintain it in the work environment for the benefit of team members and the school unit. The results gathered highlight the actions of the school manager, from those who act in an archaic and centralized manner, to managers who exercise leadership and practice democratic management. The study contributes to reflection on what needs to be changed, sought or maintained by effective managers.
