LIBROS DE TEXTO DE MATEMÁTICAS EN EL BACHILLERATO ESPAÑOL (1926-1957)
Los libros de texto son un instrumento auxiliar de la labor docente. Los profesores elaboraban libros de texto, no solo para plasmar sus concepciones sobre la enseñanza de la asignatura y para ayudar al aprendizaje de sus alumnos, sino porque eran una importante fuente de ingresos extraordinarios para los catedráticos de Instituto. El objetivo del trabajo es identificar los libros de texto de las asignaturas matemáticas del bachillerato que se utilizaron en España entre 1926 y 1957, situándolos en su contexto político y legislativo. El trabajo se sitúa en el ámbito de la Historia de la Educación Matemática y utiliza el método histórico. A partir de las fuentes consultadas se han diferenciado tres etapas; en cada una de ellas se han localizado y estudiado las órdenes ministeriales referentes a los libros de texto. El estudio realizado ha detectado momentos de gran control de los libros de texto alternando con otros de mayor libertad.

Abstract:
Textbooks are an auxiliary tool for the teaching activity. In the past, secondary school teachers produced textbooks not only to express their conceptions about the teaching of the subject and help their students learning, but also because they were an important source of extra income. The aim of this work is to identify the textbooks of mathematics subjects that were used in Spain between 1926 and 1957, placing them in their political and legislative context. The work is situated in the field of the History of Mathematics Education and uses the historical method. Three stages have been distinguished based on the consulted sources. At each of them, the ministerial orders concerning textbooks have been located and studied. The study has detected moments of great control of textbooks, alternating with other periods of larger freedom.
