LEVANTAMENTO DAS PLANTAS MEDICINAIS UTILIZADAS PELOS FAMILIARES DE ALUNOS DA ESCOLA JAYME VERÍSSIMO DE CAMPOS JÚNIOR, ALTA FLORESTA/MT: INTEGRAÇÃO DE SABERES
Ao longo da história, o ser humano faz uso da flora para cura e prevenções de doenças, mesmo com os avanços da medicina moderna. O conhecimento popular sobre o uso de plantas medicinais é analisado e discutido em diferentes esferas do conhecimento, devido a gama de informações que se associam a essa temática. A escola é um ambiente onde se integram informações de cunho científico e popular, onde os saberes são discutidos nas mais diversas áreas do conhecimento. Neste contexto o presente trabalho objetivou realizar o levantamento das plantas medicinais utilizadas pelos familiares de estudantes da Escola Estadual Jayme Veríssimo de Campos Júnior, no município de Alta Floresta/MT, bem como as formas de uso e suas finalidades, proporcionando uma interação entre os diferentes saberes. A pesquisa foi realizada no segundo semestre de 2015 com entrevista a 102 estudantes do ensino médio e seus familiares. Para o levantamento dos dados, utilizou-se de questionário semiestruturado, com questões sobre os dados socioeconômicos e conhecimentos sobre as plantas medicinais. Foram citadas 62 plantas medicinais utilizadas pelos familiares dos estudantes. O boldo, a hortelã e o gengibre foram às plantas com mais de 20 citações. A principal forma de preparo é o chá/decocção. A parte da planta mais utilizada são as folhas. Os familiares de todos os alunos da escola JVC fazem uso das plantas com fins terapêuticos. O conhecimento popular adquirido pelos alunos do JVC com seus familiares sobre as plantas medicinais pode ser utilizado como uma ferramenta para o processo de ensino aprendizagem e assim integrar o saber popular com o conhecimento científico.

Abstract:
Throughout history, humans make use of flora for healing and disease prevention, even with the advances of modern medicine. The popular knowledge about the use of medicinal plants is analyzed and discussed in different spheres of knowledge, due to the range of information associated with this theme. The school is an environment where information of a scientific and popular nature is integrated, where the knowledge is discussed in the most diverse areas of knowledge. In this context, the objective of this study was to survey the medicinal plants used by the students’ families at the Jayme Veríssimo State School in Campos Júnior, in the municipality of Alta Floresta/MT, as well as the forms of use and their purposes, providing an interaction between the different knowledge. The survey was conducted in the second half of 2015 with interviews to 102 high school students and their families. For the data collection, a semi-structured questionnaire was used, with questions about socioeconomic data and knowledge about medicinal plants. There were 62 medicinal plants used by students’ relatives. Boldo, mint and ginger went to plants with more than 20 citations. The main form of preparation is the tea / decoction. The most used part of the plant are the leaves. Relatives of all JVC students make use of the plants for therapeutic purposes. The popular knowledge acquired by JVC students with their families about medicinal plants can be used as a tool for the learning teaching process and thus integrate popular knowledge with scientific knowledge
