Letramento Estatístico no Ensino Médio: Estruturas Possíveis no Livro Didático
A Educação Estatística vem
crescendo ao longo dos anos, mostrando
o quanto é importante em nossas vidas, na
sociedade em que vivemos e sobretudo para
termos uma análise crítica do mundo. A Estatística
não era uma prioridade para os professores
que ensinam matemática na Educação Básica,
sendo que não era explorada ou simplesmente
tinha tratamento procedimental. Hoje vemos que
ela está presente em quase todos os campos,
por suas especificidades de ferramenta para
organização e análise de dados, permitindo/
facilitando tomadas de decisões. Com isso,
nosso foco será o letramento estatístico nos
alunos do Ensino Médio por se tratar dos anos
finais da Educação Básica. Para saber do
letramento estatístico nos alunos do Ensino
Médio pretendemos analisar a Estatística nos
livros didáticos e nos basear em documentos
oficiais, como os Parâmetros Curriculares
Nacionais (PCN). Nossos referenciais teóricos
serão a Teoria Antropológica do Didático (TAD)
e o Letramento Estatístico. E por fim, alguns
trabalhos selecionados para a nossa leitura
inicial.

Abstract:
Statistical Education has been
growing over the years, showing how important
it is in our lives, in the society that we live and
especially for a critical analysis of the world.
Statistics was not a priority for math teachers
at Basic Education, and it was not treated or
simply had procedural treatment. Today we see
that it is present in almost all fields, due to its
specific tool for organizing and analyzing data,
allowing / facilitating decision making. With
this, our focus will be the statistical literacy in
the students of High School because it is the
final years of Basic Education. To know about
statistical literacy of high school students, we
intend to analyze statistics textbooks and rely
on official documents, such as the National
Curricular Parameters (NCP). Our theoretical
references will be the Didactic Anthropological
Theory (TAD) and the Statistical Letters. And
finally, some papers selected for our initial
reading.
