LESÕES INTRAÓSSEAS: REVISÃO DE LITERATURA E CARACTERIZAÇÃO DOS CASOS DIAGNOSTICADOS EM 10 ANOS
O estabelecimento do diagnóstico das lesões do complexo maxilofacial pelo cirurgião-dentista tem sido uma atividade custosa devido à similaridade dessas lesões do ponto de vista clínico-radiográfico. Diante disso, buscou-se abordar as principais lesões intraósseas encontradas nas práticas clínicas, visando auxiliar o profissional na determinação do diagnóstico correto, cujo sucesso deve tomar como base uma associação de características clínicas, radiográficas e histopatológicas. Torna-se notória a importância de o profissional ter conhecimento das principais características das distintas lesões, uma vez que muitas delas possuem similaridades. A partir deste estudo, ao elencar as lesões mais incidentes, espera-se que auxilie o profissional no diagnóstico da lesão – proporcionando hipóteses diagnósticas - e, consequentemente, num planejamento satisfatório, buscando a correta condução do caso

Abstract:
The establishment of the diagnosis of lesions of the maxillofacial complex by the dentist has been a costly activity due to the similarity of these lesions from the clinical-radiographic point of view. Therefore, we sought to address the main intraosseous lesions found in clinical practices, aiming to assist professionals in determining the correct diagnosis, whose success should be based on an association of clinical, radiographic and histopathological characteristics. It becomes evident the importance of the professional having knowledge of the main characteristics of the different injuries, since many of them have similarities. From this study, when listing the most incident injuries, it is expected that it will assist the professional in the diagnosis of the injury - providing diagnostic hypotheses - and, consequently, in a satisfactory planning, seeking the correct management of the case
