LEITURA LITERÁRIA E CULTURA CIENTÍFICA: O PAPEL MULTIDISCIPLINAR DA LITERATURA
A articulação interdisciplinar pode ser encarada como um modo diferente de nortear o ensino, favorecendo novas metodologias de trabalho e levando à reformulação de práticas pedagógicas. Pretende-se, entre outros aspetos, diminuir a fragmentação do saber e colocar as disciplinas em diálogo, através do trabalho colaborativo. Dentro deste paradigma, tivemos como objetivo implementar um conjunto de estratégias e atividades que promovessem o caráter multidisciplinar da literatura, em sala de aula. Nesta perspetiva, levantaram-se três questões: Poderá a poesia divulgar ciência? Poderá a literatura viajar até às salas de aula de outras disciplinas? Como promover a cultura científica nas aulas de literatura e promover a literatura nas aulas de ciências? Através da análise de dois poemas de poetas/cientistas portugueses, podemos concluir que a poesia é também documento de uma época, mostrando-nos a história da ciência. Promove, simultaneamente, a cultura científica, em geral, e conteúdos específicos da disciplina de Ciências Físico-Químicas, em particular. Estimula o trabalho colaborativo que permitiu implementar esta experiência pedagógica, demonstrando que um currículo por disciplinas consegue incrementar o diálogo e a interação entre as mesmas, permitindo dar-lhes uma dimensão interdisciplinar. Apesar de continuarem a existir barreiras entre as ciências e as humanidades, as mesmas começam a esbater-se, reconhecendo-se que as suas linguagens específicas podem proporcionar diferentes perspetivas de análise, quando colocadas em interação. O texto literário é o reflexo de como a literatura acompanha as conquistas científicas e as ciências poderão ser um acervo essencial para o texto literário.

Abstract:
Interdisciplinary articulation can be seen as a different way of guiding teaching, favoring new work methodologies, and leading to the reformulation of pedagogical practices. It is intended, among other aspects, to reduce the fragmentation of knowledge and put the disciplines in dialogue, through collaborative work. Within this paradigm, we aimed to implement a set of strategies and activities that promote the multidisciplinary character of literature in the classroom. In this perspective, three questions were raised: Can poetry disseminate science? Can literature travel to the classrooms of other disciplines? How to promote scientific culture in literature classes and promote literature in science classes? Through the analysis of two poems by Portuguese poets/scientists, we can conclude that poetry is also a document of an era, showing us the history of science. It simultaneously promotes scientific culture, in general, and specific contents of the Physical-Chemical Sciences discipline, in particular. It stimulates the collaborative work that allowed this pedagogical experience to be implemented, demonstrating that a curriculum by subjects can increase dialogue and interaction between them, allowing them to be given an interdisciplinary dimension. Although barriers between the sciences and the humanities continue to exist, they begin to blur, recognizing that their specific languages can provide different perspectives of analysis, when placed in interaction. The literary text reflects how literature follows scientific achievements and science can be an essential collection for the literary text.
