LEIBNIZ: UM HOMEM A FRENTE DE SEU TEMPO, FILÓSOFO, MATEMÁTICO E CRISTÃO ECUMENICO.
Leibnz, 1646 a 1716, inspirou o Romantismo alemão com o conteúdo otimista de seus escritos de conciliação entre o renascimento e a modernidade. Filosofou e teorizou sobre Direito, Matemática, Teologia e Metafísica. O questionamento principal de nossa reflexão: Porque a Metafísica de Leibnz não foi respeitada como deveria em seu tempo? Consideramos que sua condição de filósofo complexo, matemático competente e cristão ecumênico no contexto das grandes guerras entre protestantes e católicos contribui para sua desvalorização no meio intelectual de meados do sec. XVII e início do XVIII. Nosso método será interpretativo, a Análise do Conteúdo, BARDIN, (1995), de cerca de 60% da obra, “Discurso de Metafísica”. O conteúdo analisado, cuja complexidade de tese, transparece a personalidade subjetiva, individual, racional, filosófica e teológica, e flui de forma coerente, um homem que apesar de suas questões contextuais responde aos anseios do homem pós-moderno.

Abstract:
LEIBNIZ: A MAN IN FRONT OF HIS TIME, A PHILOSOPHER, MATHEMATICIAN AND ECUMENICAL CHRISTIAN.
Leibnz, 1646 and 1716, inspired German Romanticism with the optimistic content of his writings of reconciliation between the Renaissance and modernity. Lonely man philosophized and theorized about Law, Mathematics, Theology and Metaphysics. Question of our reflection: Why was Leibnz's Metaphysics not respected as it should in its time? We consider that his condition as a complex Philosopher, competent mathematician and ecumenical Christian in the context of the great wars between Protestants and Catholics contributes to his devaluation in the intellectual milieu of the middle of the sec. XVII and beginning of XVIII. Our method will be interpretive, Content Analysis, BARDIN, (1995),of about 60% of the work, "Discourse of Metaphysics". Her content, here analyzed, whose complexity of thesis, transpires the subjective, individual, rational, philosophical and theological personality. And it flows in a coherent, a man who despite his contextual questions answers the desires of the postmodern man.
