Abstract: Abstract This research has as main objective, to apply the Law of Cooling of Newton in the analysis of the behavior of ecological tiles and ceramic tiles in relation to the heating and the cooling. For this, an experimental research was carried out where both types of tiles were induced at an initial temperature of 33 ° C and exposed to the sun at an ambient temperature of 38 ° C for a period of 10 minutes, where the ecological tile reached 42.9 ° C and the ceramic 42.2 ° C. These data were released in an ODE (Ordinary Differential Equation) modeling formulating a thermal behavior value (PVI) for both tiles. In the possession of the equations it was possible to conclude that the Ecological tile presents a lower potential when it comes to thermal comfort for regions that suffer from high temperatures because, unlike ceramic tile, it tends to heat faster and cool more slowly. In the related graphs it is possible to observe that the ceramic tile excels in the cooling issue, considering that it presents characteristics in which it allows a reach of thermal equilibrium with the environment, when this is the different temperature, in a considered short time.
