Abstract: The observation that most organizations still adopt traditional project management models, characterized by sectorization and fragmented communication between teams, demonstrates an opportunity to apply Lean methodology principles to project management in companies in the architecture and civil construction sector in order to contribute to continuous improvement and increased process efficiency. Through a case study, the process of implementing Lean in a company in the civil construction sector was analyzed, detailing the tools used and subsequently discussing their continued application after the end of the implementation stage. It was found that maintaining a Lean culture requires the continuous engagement of teams and the commitment of leadership to process improvement. It is concluded that the adoption of the Lean approach in project management in architecture and construction represents an effective path to achieving more sustainable results aligned with the quality perceived by the client.
