LAZER E TURISMO NOS JARDINS BOTÂNICOS DE BELÉM (PA)
O lazer e o turismo são práticas que envolvem relações sociais, culturais e ambientais, a fim de satisfazer a necessidade humana de quebra da rotina. Os jardins botânicos se configuram em espaços ideais para tanto. Neste contexto, este artigo revela o modo como são usufruídos o Bosque Rodrigues Alves Jardim Zoobotânico da Amazônia e o Parque Zoobotânico do Museu Emílio Goeldi, como espaços de lazer e turismo em Belém (PA), destacando as múltiplas funções ecológicas, ambientais, educacionais e estética desses espaços. Para tanto utiliza-se a pesquisa bibliográfica, documental, de campo, com observação direta e registro fotográfico. Os dados evidenciaram que tais espaços, mesmo recebendo expressivo e diversificado contingente de frequentadores, apresentam algumas limitações, principalmente no que diz respeito à infraestrutura e à divulgação de seus atrativos. Os resultados sinalizam que, além de estimularem a sensibilização ambiental, o estudo, a convivência com a biodiversidade amazônica e o lazer, os dois espaços contribuem para a qualidade de vida da população urbana local e flutuante.

Abstract:
Leisure and tourism are practices that involve social, cultural, and environmental connections to satisfy the human need to break the routine. Botanical gardens are ideal spaces for such practices. Thus, the article reveals how the Bosque Rodrigues Alves Zoobotanic Garden of the Amazon as well as the Zoo and Botanical Park Museu Emílio Goeldi (Belém-Pa), are used as leisure and tourism spaces in Belém / PA their multiple ecological, environmental, educational along with aesthetic functions. For this purpose, bibliographic, documentary, field research with direct observation and photography records were used. The data showed that such spaces have some limitations, especially in terms of infrastructure and marketing, despite receiving an abundant and diverse contingent of regulars. In addition to stimulating environmental awareness, education, intimacy with Amazonian biodiversity, and leisure, the parks contribute to the life quality of the local and floating urban population.
