Abstract: The objective of this research article is to analyze the symbiotic relationship between economics and marketing, exploring how these disciplines influence each other in a global context, with an emphasis on the Mexican case. The study is based on the premise that economic cycles (expansion, recession) condition marketing strategies, while these strategies, in turn, impact economic growth through the generation of demand, innovation, and business competitiveness. To address the topic, a mixed methodology was employed, combining: 1) a systematic review of academic literature and 2) the analysis of paradigmatic case studies
