Abstract: The article presents the problem of terokal consumption among street children as a rather complex reality; Thus, based on the general characteristics of children and adolescents who live on the streets in the city of Lima, it is proposed that the problem of terokal consumption brings together situations that depend on the environment, the substance and the children themselves, therefore that this cannot but be defined as a multidimensional problem that manifests itself in the physical, psychological and social deterioration that they experience as a consequence of the process of becoming homeless, which marginalizes them and progressively excludes them from participation in society, not without before having stigmatized them as non-refundable because they are irrecoverable. In the development of the article we focus on the social deterioration of street children and adolescents and we define it as a particular form of situation that affects their social reintegration, which will serve us for social intervention with these children, after properly understanding the genesis. of this problem; In accordance with this, it is stated that socio-educational action with street children gains importance in early intervention with those who have recently entered the circle of life on the street, since this reduces the risk of developing problematic SPA consumption. and that, in addition, they deteriorate, affecting their possibilities of reintegration into society.
