• Abstract:

  The contribution that Social

  Work can make as regards the ability to know

  and interpret the subjectivity of people, can be

  interesting in order to complement the research

  carried out in this area, enabling a comparative

  work, refutation or complementation of current

  knowledge, always based on the experience of

  the users of the service.

  In this regard, we believe that the research

  designs based on narrative methodologies

  offer the possibility to identify the most personal

  and existential aspects of young people who,

  due to the special circumstances of life that happened during their childhood and/

  or adolescence, were looked after by the Child Protection System in its modality of

  residential care.

  The research design set out below tries to know in order to share. Share experiences

  based on the value of memories of those who were once the principal actors of it.
