Abstract: For decades, the world has been going through a global environmental crisis related to the overexploitation of natural resources, where companies and organizations have prioritized generating profits under the paradigm of pleasing the consumer and satisfying needs in a dizzying race with strategy. of planned obsolescence. In this context, we see the problems that emerge as a result of climate change given that human activity has generated certain imbalances, altering the water cycle and the ecosystems that maintain the balance of the planet: natural disasters, pandemics, fires, continuous floods because the temperature of the earth continues to rise and because we have ruined the ecosystems of the spices that inhabit it. Sustainability involves a structural change in the way of thinking about development, to the extent that it imposes limits on productive growth, resource consumption and environmental impacts that exceed the assimilation and absorption capacities of ecosystems; while social and environmental accounting is a comprehensive process that requires the different actors in society to make commitments and responsibilities in the application of the economic, political, environmental and social model, as well as in the consumption patterns that determine the quality of life. . This work emphasizes the need to solve the economic problem of production and the need to resolve the accounting aspects of the social framework and environmental resources, with an alternative proposal that is manifested in terms of the circular economy model that is It constitutes a multiplicity of elements, parts or components, where the complexity of production systems emerges. It is not only about resolving the aspects that have to do with material production, and resolving the relations of production and accounting; But true transformative action should be exercised on human passions and thus rethink the problems on all fronts that impact human beings; It is about achieving a planetary awareness that we are essentially nature, and as such, we are attacking ourselves.
