KARL POPPER E A CIÊNCIA HISTÓRICA
O presente artigo busca estudar as propostas do filósofo da ciência Karl Popper para a História. O objetivo desse estudo é investigar em suas obras escritos relacionados à História, compreender a metodologia que o filósofo elabora para a ciência histórica e como seria a sua aplicação à mesma. Para tal, se faz necessário compreender as suas principais ideias, que norteiam toda a sua filosofia, onde se pode destacar o seu racionalismo crítico e a sua teoria do falsificacionismo, que entende o avanço do conhecimento por meio da crítica, onde ao eliminar os erros e as falhas de uma teoria, consegue-se uma melhor aproximação da verdade. Também será abordado as críticas que Popper fez às teorias e práticas metodológicas utilizadas para a História, destacando as que, dentro da teoria popperiana, possui caráter científico e as que não possuem.

Abstract:
This article seeks to study the proposals of the philosopher of science Karl Popper for History. The aim of this study is to investigate in his writings related to History, to understand the methodology that the philosopher elaborates for historical science and how it would be applied to it. For this purpose, it is necessary to understand its main ideas, which guide its entire philosophy, where it is possible to highlight its critical rationalism and its theory of falsificationism, which understands the advance of knowledge through criticism, where by eliminating errors and the flaws of a theory, a better approximation of the truth is achieved. Popper's criticisms of the theories and methodological practices used in history will also be addressed, highlighting those that, within Popper's theory, have a scientific character and those that do not.
