JUVENTUDE RURAL NO IFNMG – CAMPUS ARAÇUAÍ: DESAFIOS E PERSPECTIVAS DOS JOVENS RURAIS NO CONTEXTO DA EDUCAÇÃO TÉCNICA
Este trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa desenvolvida, no ano de 2016, com jovens rurais estudantes do Instituto Federal do Norte de Minas Gerais – Campus Araçuaí. A pesquisa teve como propósito conhecer aspectos da sociabilidade destes jovens rurais no contexto urbano, além da própria socialização no espaço sócio cultural de um campus da educação profissional e tecnológica. A pesquisa colocou em evidência alguns temas particularmente associados à juventude rural, dentre os quais destacam-se a questão da sucessão rural e a problemática da migração. Considera-se que a reprodução social do campo tem sido tensionada pela perspectiva de continuidade das práticas econômicas e sociais ligadas ao campo, tendo a juventude rural como parte intimamente associada a essa temática. Um dos aspectos revelados pela pesquisa é a baixa proporção de jovens rurais inseridos numa instituição criada com a perspectiva de inibir a evasão dos jovens para outros centros de educação distanciados do Vale do Jequitinhonha. Por outro lado, destaca-se que a inserção em escolas urbanas, como o caso do campus pesquisado, pode potencializar a porta de saída destes jovens rumo a outros projetos de vida distintos daqueles vinculados à vida no campo. Estas foram algumas das questões surgidas no desenvolvimento da pesquisa. As discussões que se abrem pretendem balizar a formulação de políticas públicas voltadas à juventude rural, tomada como categoria social significativa e central para a compreensão das dinâmicas socioculturais que dizem respeito ao campo no Vale do Jequitinhonha.

Abstract:
This paper is a result from a research developed in 2016, with young from rural areas whom study at Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais - Campus Araçuaí. The current research aimed to know aspects of their sociability with urban context beyond their sociocultural approach as students from a professional and technological institution. This research highly showed some issues related to rural youth, among them is possible detail the rural succession and migration issues. It is possible realize that the social reprodution from the countryside it has been under pressure from some perspective of continuous process of economical and social approaches related to rural areas, that has the rural youth intimately matched to them.
The low proportion of students from rural areas doing part of this Institution that was created to avoid their migration to another educational institutions far from Jequitinhonha´s Valley was one of the aspects of this research. On the other hand, it highlights that the student´s insertion in urban schools like this Campus reinforces their searching for another lifestyle contrasting the rural approach. These were some issues appeared during the research. The debates aim to determine public policies to rural youth, because it is such a central and significant social category that allows the best understanding about its dynamics that regards to the countryside in Jequitinhonha´s Valley.
