• Abstract: The objective of this article is based on an experience report on the project “Young Entrepreneur: financial education and sustainable development - JEM”, addressing the first experience of developing extension actions, discussing the initial results, both in the social and academic fields, with the central theme, in this first moment, being entrepreneurship and innovation in the face of resolving market demands. Methodologically, this Project is developed with courses in the area of ​​Social Sciences: Administration, Accounting Sciences, Economic Sciences, Journalism, Marketing EAD, Human Resources EAD, at the Franciscan University (UFN), with its operationalization carried out through workshops with teaching students of Santa Maria and mediated by teachers from different areas, based on a specific case. The results found denote that the students have entrepreneurial characteristics and were able to organize their ideas based on the context of their experiences, proposing viable solutions to resolve the demands presented.
