JORNALISMO COMUNITÁRIO NO PROJETO RONDON: A PRÁTICA DE DAR VOZ À COMUNIDADE
Este artigo tem a intenção de
resgatar e registrar a vivência da prática
jornalística de um grupo de alunos e professores
dos cursos de Jornalismo e Publicidade
e Propaganda da Universidade de Passo
Fundo, no Projeto Rondon. Com a missão
de realizar a cobertura dos acontecimentos
da Operação Forte dos Reis Magos, o grupo
de participantes teve a oportunidade de
realizar uma produção jornalística voltada à
comunidade rondonista. Exercer a profissão em
um contexto sociocultural totalmente diferente
do que estavam acostumados, vivenciar a rotina
de uma cobertura diária que envolveu muitos
quilômetros de estrada, dar a conhecer o Projeto
Rondon e a Operação Forte dos Reis Magos
para quem estava longe e para quem vivenciava,
ações cumpridas em 18 dias de muito trabalho
e dedicação do grupo, legaram um aprendizado
intenso e permitiram o aprofundamento daquilo
que é nomeado como jornalismo comunitário.

Abstract:
This article intends to retrieve
and record the experience of the journalistic
practice of a group of students and professors
of the courses of Journalism and Advertising
and Propaganda of the Universidade de Passo
Fundo, in the Projeto Rondon. With the mission
to cover the events of Operation Forte dos
Reis Magos, the group of participants had the
opportunity to carry out a journalistic production
aimed at the rondonista community. Exercising
the profession in a sociocultural context totally
different from what they were accustomed to,
experiencing the routine of a daily coverage
that involved many kilometers of road, to make
known the Projeto Rondon and Operation Forte
dos Reis Magos for those who were far away
and for those who lived, actions accomplished
in 18 days of hard work and dedication of the
group, bequeathed an intense learning and
allowed the deepening of what is named as
community journalism.
