Abstract: This experience report aims to investigate how structured games can help in the assimilation of the concepts of whole and half in early childhood education. Qualitative research was carried out with children aged 5 to 6 years, using playful activities to evaluate learning before and after pedagogical mediation. Direct questions were asked about the mathematical concepts studied, followed by playful interventions, such as grocery store games, allowing us to analyze the evolution of the children's learning.
