Abstract: This text shares a snapshot of experiences with children and adults in their daily family lives during the difficult global scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic. Considering the specificities of Early Childhood Education, actions of welcoming, listening, observing, recording, and interpreting have become methodologies for understanding the interactions and games of children and adults. The records (written and audiovisual) produced in the context in question are intense and present precious and complex dimensions about teacher evaluation and self-evaluation, child learning and development, and ongoing training in the context. The organized Pedagogical Documentation built memories of lived experiences, brought concerns to the children's journey, and expanded the sense of observation and attentive and sensitive listening to the children's universe and the possibility of another look at other ways of being and teaching with children. This dialogue was based on studies and research that dialogue with the first stage of Basic Education.
