Iskonawa, una cultura en peligro de extinción
El pueblo indígena Iskonawa habita en la Amazonía peruana y habla la lengua del mismo nombre. En ese sentido el objetivo de la investigación fue describir la situación actual del pueblo Iskonawa a través de su historia, alfabeto, instituciones sociales, económicas y políticas, creencias y prácticas ancestrales obtenidas a través de la revisión bibliográfica y del diagnóstico realizado el año 2019 en la comunidad nativa de Calleria, Ucayali, Perú. Se ha determinado que la mayor población Iskonawa se ha situado en la comunidad nativa de Calleria y que la lengua iskonawa se encuentra en peligro de desaparecer. Por ello, es necesario registrar su escritura, cuentos, mitos, leyendas, cantos, entre otros para conocer más de esta cultura y revalorar esta lengua originaria.

Abstract:
The Iskonawa indigenous live in the Peruvian Amazon and speak the language of the same name. In this sense, the objective of the research was to describe the current situation of the Iskonawa people through their history, alphabet, social, economic and political institutions, beliefs and ancestral practices obtained through the bibliographic review and the diagnosis made in 2019 in the natives. Calleria community, Ucayali, Perú. It has been determined that the largest Iskonawa population has been located in the native community of Calleria and that the Iskonawa language is in danger of disappearing. Therefore, it is necessary to register their writing, stories, myths, legends, songs, among others to learn more about this culture and revalue this native language.
