IS THE AMAZON FOREST FROM BRAZIL OR THE WORLD?
O artigo se propõe analisar os desafios da floresta amazônica para com a sustentabilidade do planeta. A floresta amazônica é a maior floresta tropical do mundo, riquíssima tanto em sua fauna quanto em sua flora, sendo importante não só no âmbito nacional, como também no internacional. Assim, torna-se imprescindível que o bioma seja preservado e que sua sustentabilidade seja uma preocupação constante, ainda mais com as ameaças de países internacionais sobre nossas fontes naturais. O tema justifica-se, pois, a região amazônica é o centro das discussões mundial sobre o clima e que países internacionais ameaçam a soberania do estado brasileiro. Tem se como objetivo realizar uma abordagem crítica, científica e pontual sobre o Fundo Amazônia, principais parceiros e responsabilidades do Brasil assumida em tratados internacionais. Como proposta, apresenta-se face a legislação, o caráter de objetividade e celeridade, e que países e empresas cumpra com sua responsabilidade social, sendo fundamental que o governo federal brasileiro assegure o monitoramento da floresta e que fiscalize e pune empresas infratoras como a Mineradora Norueguesa Hydro Alunorte. Pauta-se este estudo por meio da pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, utilizando-se de doutrinas, artigos e consultas abrangendo obras especializadas, revistas, entre outros. Como conclusão, entende-se que o Brasil, palco central das discussões mundial sobre o clima, possui o direito legal sobre a floresta amazônica e que Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), possa compor uma pauta desafiadora para que a universidade brasileira (pesquisadores e especialistas), contribua efetivamente para a construção de políticas públicas afinadas com uma governança voltada para o futuro do Planeta.

Abstract:
The article proposes to analyze the challenges of the Amazon rainforest for the sustainability of the planet. The Amazon rainforest is the largest tropical forest in the world, very rich in both its fauna and flora, being important not only at the national level, but also at the international level. Thus, it is essential that the biome is preserved and that its sustainability is a constant concern, especially with threats from international countries about our natural sources. The theme is justified, therefore, the Amazon region is the center of the global discussions about the climate and that international countries threaten the sovereignty of the Brazilian state. Its objective is to carry out a critical, scientific and punctual approach to the Amazon Fund, Brazil's main partners and responsibilities assumed in international treaties. As a proposal, it presents itself in view of the legislation, the character of objectivity and speed, and that countries and companies comply with their social responsibility, being essential that the Brazilian federal government ensures the monitoring of the forest and that it inspects and punishes infringing companies such as the Mining Company Norwegian Hydro Alunorte. This study is guided by documentary and bibliographic research, using doctrines, articles and consultations covering specialized works, magazines, among others. As a conclusion, it is understood that Brazil, the central stage of the global climate discussions, has the legal right over the Amazon rainforest and that Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can compose a challenging agenda for the Brazilian university (researchers and specialists), effectively contribute to the construction of public policies in tune with governance geared towards the future of the Planet.
