INVESTIGAÇÃO E PRÁTICA DO ENSINO DE BOTÂNICA NO NÍVEL FUNDAMENTAL: UMA COMPARAÇÃO ENTRE ESCOLA PÚBLICA E PRIVADA
A Botânica no Ensino Fundamental atualmente é ensinada de forma superficial e distante da realidade dos alunos. Essa pesquisa teve por finalidade investigar os aspectos relacionados ao ensino de botânica no 7° ano do ensino fundamental de duas escolas, uma pública e outra privada e propor uma estratégia didática para o ensino da botânica. Os aspectos analisados foram: a metodologia, os recursos didáticos utilizados, a vivência dos professores e a opinião dos alunos sobre o ensino de ciências e de botânica. A partir da observação das aulas, ciente das dificuldades que permeiam o professor nesse nível de ensino, foi proposta uma forma de contribuir para o processo de ensino aprendizagem, com a realização de uma aula prática. A aula proposta atingiu seus objetivos, aproximando o conteúdo de botânica da realidade dos alunos, que passaram a se relacionar de forma mais positiva com esse conteúdo.

Abstract:
Botany in Elementary School is currently taught superficially and far from the students’ reality. The purpose of this research was to investigate the aspects related to the botanical education of the 7th year of elementary school in two schools, one public and one private, and propose a didactic strategy for the teaching of botany. The aspects analyzed were: the methodology, the didactic resources used, the experience of the teachers and the students' opinion about the teaching of science and botany. From the observation of classes, aware of the difficulties that permeate the teacher at this level of teaching, a way was proposed to contribute to the process of teaching learning, with the realization of a practical lesson. The proposed class reached its objectives, bringing the botanical content closer to the reality of the students, who came to relate more positively to this content.
