Abstract: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can affect women's sexual function, damaging their sexual health. Given this context, this article presents a literature review with the general objective of investigating physiotherapeutic interventions used to combat sexual dysfunction in women with MS. It is based on Gopal et al, Lúcio et al, Azimi et al, among other studies that address the topic. The question is: can pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) associated or not with neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) with electromyographic biofeedback (EMG) bring benefits to sexual dysfunction in women with MS? Techniques such as TMAP, NMES and EMG biofeedback were described, highlighting their contributions to improving patients' sexual function and quality of life. The results indicate that these interventions, especially when combined, can be highly effective, although the response to treatment varies depending on the severity of the disease and the individual conditions of the patients. The need for a multidisciplinary and personalized approach is emphasized for the effective management of sexual dysfunction in women with MS, integrating physiotherapeutic interventions with psychological support and continuous monitoring. This study suggests that more research is needed to optimize these approaches and adapt interventions to different stages of MS.
