INTERVENÇÕES DE ENFERMAGEM NA PREVENÇÃO DE QUEDAS EM PACIENTES IDOSOS ACOMETIDOS POR ACIDENTE VASCULAR CEREBRAL: UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA
Analisar através de revisão bibliográfica as estratégias de enfermagem na prevenção de quedas em pacientes idosos acometidos por Acidente Vascular Cerebral. Revisão bibliográfica: Às quedas aumentam o tempo de permanência hospitalar e são um indicador de qualidade assistencial, podendo decorrer de um somatório de fatores como: problemas na mobilidade física, capacidade funcional, visual e cognitiva. Esses eventos causam repercussões individuais, sociais e institucionais na medida em que reduzem a autonomia do idoso, afastam do convívio social e geram altos custos aos sistemas de saúde mundiais. Considerações finais: A partir da Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem, os enfermeiros precisam realizar rotineiramente a avaliação do risco de queda e desenvolver um plano de prevenção para todos os pacientes que são atendidos no ambiente hospitalar. As instituições de assistência hospitalar têm o desafio de garantir sua não ocorrência através de programas de prevenção. Este estudo contribui com a temática na medida em que esclarece as principais causas e alerta para a importância da prevenção, demonstrando serem consideráveis os prejuízos associados à ocorrência das quedas.

Abstract:
To analyze through a literature review the nursing strategies in the prevention of falls in elderly patients affected by stroke. Bibliographic review: Falls increase time in hospital and is an indicator of quality of care, stemming from a sum of factors such as: problems in physical mobility, functional, visual and cognitive capacity. These events cause individual, social and institutional repercussions as they reduce the autonomy of the elderly, distance them from their social life and generate high costs for the global health systems. Final considerations: Based on the Systematization of Nursing Care, nurses need to routinely assess the risk of falling and develop a prevention plan for all patients who are treated in the hospital environment. Hospital care institutions face the challenge of ensuring their non-occurrence through prevention programs. This study contributes to the theme as it clarifies the main causes and alerts to the importance of prevention, demonstrating that the losses associated with the occurrence of falls are considerable.
