INTERNAL ANATOMY OF THE LOWER MOLARS: LITERATURE REVIEW
Este manuscrito consiste em uma revisão da literatura que aborda os aspectos e variações apresentados na anatomia interna dos molares inferiores. O conhecimento da morfologia interna é um ponto extremamente complexo e importante para o planejamento e execução da terapia endodôntica. A falta deste conhecimento pode levar a erros na localização, instrumentação e obturação do sistema de canais radiculares. É importante o cirurgião-dentista clínico e o especialista em endodontia observarem que nem sempre a evolução das tecnologias de mecanização na endodontia tem efetividade absoluta uma vez que existe uma real necessidade de conhecimento das particularidades da anatomia interna.

Abstract:
This manuscript consists of a literature review that addresses the relevant aspects and variations in the internal anatomy of mandibular molars. The knowledge of the internal morphology is an extremely complex and important point for the planning and execution of endodontic therapy. Lack of knowledge can lead to errors in its location, instrumentation and filling of the root canal system. It is important for clinical dentists and endodontics specialists to note that the evolution of mechanization technologies in endodontics is not always fully effective, since there is a real need for knowledge of the particularities of the internal anatomy.
