INTERFACES DA EDUCAÇÃO EM TEMPOS DE MUDANÇAS CONSTANTES
O presente artigo reflete sobre algumas interfaces fundamentais da educação, a saber: abordagens do processo educacional, os ambientes informais de aprendizado, a participação e atualização profissional do docente e a necessidade de realismo na Educação. Considera a relevância e a utilidade das Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação (TIC’s) no processo educativo, para docentes e discentes. Defende a necessidade dos educadores abrirem-se a uma atualização do seu modus operandi educacional, tendo em vista o fato de que o mundo, hoje, presencia rápidas e profundas mudanças de ordem social, tecnológica e comunicacional. Negar a necessidade de atualização profissional implica assim em grave prejuízo para o ensino. A Educação precisa ser capaz de operar de modo a alcançar o discente nessa nova realidade social que se estabelece e exige novas formas de comunicação, de interação e, naturalmente, leva as pessoas a aprenderem de um modo diferente.

Abstract:
This article reflects on some fundamental interfaces of education, namely: approaches to the educational process, informal learning environments, the participation and professional updating of teachers and the need for realism in Education. It considers the relevance and usefulness of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT's) in the educational process, for teachers and students. It defends the need for educators to open themselves to an update of their educational modus operandi, in view of the fact that the world today is experiencing rapid and profound changes in the social, technological and communicational order. Denying the need for professional updating thus implies serious damage to teaching. Education needs to be able to operate in order to reach the student in this new social reality that is established and requires new forms of communication, interaction and, naturally, leads people to learn in a different way.
