Abstract: This article discusses the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in visual arts education, exploring the potential of this technology to transform pedagogical practices and creative processes in art teaching. The research adopts a qualitative, exploratory approach, based on a literature review aimed at understanding how AI has been applied in educational contexts and its impact on creativity, ethics, and originality in visual arts instruction. The methodology consists of gathering and analyzing academic sources, including scientific articles, books, and specialized publications, focusing on the most relevant AI tools and their pedagogical implications. The study is organized into three main stages: bibliographic survey, analysis and categorization of the collected information, and data interpretation, seeking to provide a comprehensive overview of the benefits and challenges of using AI in visual arts. The review revealed that AI can enhance students' creativity by offering new forms of artistic expression, as well as optimize the monitoring of individual student progress. However, ethical and creative challenges were also identified, such as issues of authorship and excessive reliance on technological tools. The article concludes that, despite these challenges, AI has the potential to enrich visual arts education by offering new opportunities for pedagogical innovation, provided it is implemented ethically and thoughtfully.
