A Inteligência Artificial (IA) tem promovido transformações significativas em diferentes setores da sociedade, incluindo o campo educacional. No contexto da Educação Básica, o avanço das tecnologias baseadas em IA tem possibilitado novas formas de ensinar, aprender e gerir processos educacionais, ao mesmo tempo em que suscita reflexões acerca de seus impactos éticos, pedagógicos e sociais. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as potencialidades, os desafios e as perspectivas da utilização da Inteligência Artificial na Educação Básica, a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica de produções científicas nacionais e internacionais. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como qualitativa, de natureza bibliográfica, fundamentada em artigos científicos, livros, documentos oficiais e estudos recentes sobre a temática. Os resultados evidenciam que a IA pode contribuir para a personalização da aprendizagem, o acompanhamento do desempenho dos estudantes, a otimização de atividades docentes e o aprimoramento da gestão escolar. Entretanto, aspectos relacionados à privacidade de dados, ao viés algorítmico, à formação docente e ao uso ético das tecnologias demandam atenção permanente. Conclui-se que a Inteligência Artificial possui potencial para contribuir significativamente com a Educação Básica, desde que sua utilização ocorra de forma crítica, ética e responsável, valorizando o papel do professor e do gestor escolar como mediadores dos processos educativos e promovendo práticas pedagógicas alinhadas às demandas da cultura digital contemporânea.

  • Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has promoted significant transformations across various sectors of society, including education. In the context of Basic Education, the advancement of AI-based technologies has enabled new ways of teaching, learning, and managing educational processes, while also raising reflections on their ethical, pedagogical, and social impacts. This article aims to analyze the potentialities, challenges, and perspectives of the use of Artificial Intelligence in Basic Education through a bibliographic review of national and international scientific studies. The research is qualitative in nature and based on scientific articles, books, official documents, and recent studies on the topic. The findings indicate that AI can contribute to personalized learning, monitoring student performance, optimizing teaching activities, and improving school management. However, issues related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, teacher training, and the ethical use of technology require continuous attention. It is concluded that Artificial Intelligence has the potential to make significant contributions to Basic Education, provided that its implementation occurs in a critical, ethical, and responsible manner, valuing the role of teachers and school managers as mediators of educational processes and promoting pedagogical practices aligned with the demands of contemporary digital culture.
