Abstract: During the 2024-I semester, in the Physics 1 course of the third cycle of the Professional School of Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science at the National Hermilio Valdizán University, an innovative pedagogical strategy based on the STEAM+H approach was implemented. Through group activities and the use of technological tools such as the PhET simulator, students explored the relationship between waves and sound. The activities included simulations, experiments with Chladni figures, the development of projects on noise pollution, and presentations at community events. As a result, a deep understanding of the wave phenomenon was achieved, fostering collaboration and creativity. This experience was awarded first and second place in the educational innovation contest "Ideas that Inspire." This account details the processes, findings, and lessons learned, highlighting the importance of active methodologies in higher education.
