INOVAÇÃO SOCIAL: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DO PROJETO MÃO AMIGA
O presente artigo possui como
caso o Projeto Mão Amiga, entidade sem fins
lucrativos, coordenada por uma equipe de
voluntários. O artigo possui o objetivo de analisar
se o referido projeto é uma inovação social,
para isso, fez uso da abordagem qualitativa, de
natureza exploratória e estratégia de estudo de
caso. Como técnica de coleta de dados utilizouse a entrevista com roteiro semiestruturado com
questões abertas. Para a análise dos dados
foi utilizada a análise de conteúdo, a partir
do Software NVivo®. Com dados da análise
percebe-se que dentre as características
apresentadas pelo projeto, como a formação
social dos indivíduos, a preocupação com a
resolução de problemas sociais a partir de ações
voluntárias, conclui-se que o projeto estudado,
de acordo com os autores apresentados, atende
às características de uma inovação social.

Abstract:
This article is the result of the
analysis of the research of authors in the area of social innovation and its potential contributions, coupled with the work of
the “Projeto Mão Amiga” (Helpful Hand Project), which is a non-profit organization
lead by volunteers, who work to help care for children ranging from 0 to 6 years old,
whose parents are in a vulnerable social situation and who have not qualified to
receive free child care. This is a qualitative exploratory research with a case study
approach. The instrument for data collection was semi-structured interviews with open
ended questions. The NVivo® software was used to review the content analysis of
the research findings. The analysis of the data, along with the evidence offered by the
authors of the project, which includes the social background of the individuals involved
and their genuine interest in getting involved with volunteer projects aimed at helping
solve social problems, suggests that the project in question can in fact be described as
a social innovation.
