INICIAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA A DISTÂNCIA: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE PESQUISADORES NA ÁREA DE LETRAS
Este trabalho pauta-se no objetivo
de apresentar uma experiência, ainda em curso,
de desenvolvimento de atividades de Iniciação
Científica (IC) na Educação a distância (EaD),
com alunos do Curso de Letras. Como foco na
investigação de como acontece a formação para
o uso pedagógico das tecnologias, os alunos
envolvidos, sob a orientação de professores
supervisores, são apresentados à prática da
pesquisa científica, participando de atividades
de caráter teórico (leituras, discussões) e prático
(planejamento de pesquisas, elaboração e
aplicação de instrumentos de coleta de dados,
análise de resultados, etc.). Amparando-se
em pressupostos teóricos ligados à IC (cf.
Massi e Queiroz, 2015) e às relações entre
ensino e tecnologia no contexto da EaD (cf.
Kenski, 2012; Lévy, 2010), os resultados do
projeto apontam para a proficuidade da IC
mediada pelas tecnologias da informação e
comunicação, uma vez que distâncias são
reduzidas, e pesquisadores (professores e
alunos), situados em diferentes regiões, mas de
forma próxima, por meio dos ambientes virtuais
de aprendizagem, mobilizam-se em torno de
um objetivo comum: produzir conhecimento
científico na universidade.

Abstract:
This work is based on the objective
of presenting an experiment, still in progress,
to develop activities of Scientific Initiation (SI)
in the Distance Education (DE), with students
of the Course of Languages. The students
involved, under the guidance of supervising
teachers, are introduced to the practice of
scientific research, participating in activities of a
theoretical (readings, discussions) and practical
nature (planning of researches, elaboration and
application of instruments of data collection,
analysis of results, etc.). Based on theoretical
assumptions related to the SI (see Massi and
Queiroz, 2015) and to the relationship between
teaching and technology in the context of DE
(see Kenski, 2012; Lévy, 2010), the results of
the project point to the value of SI mediated
by information and communication technologies, since distances are reduced, and
researchers (teachers and students), located in different regions, but in a close way,
through virtual learning environments, mobilize themselves around a common objective:
to produce scientific knowledge in the university.
