INFORMAÇÃO EM ÉPOCAS DE PANDEMIA: UM OLHAR DO PONTO DE VISTA DA LINGUAGEM VOLTADA À COMUNICAÇÃO EM SAÚDE PÚBLICA.
Pandemias são por conceituação eventos de grande magnitude que causam comoção global e atingem proporções inimagináveis, afetando substancialmente todos os estratos sociais. As informações e as formas de suas veiculações são de fundamental importância, pois contribuem para a garantia da ordem pública, o controle da doença e auxiliam na contenção de sua propagação. Insta trazer à baila que pouco mais de um século depois da pandemia da gripe espanhola que assolou o mundo, podemos perceber que o comportamento da população, as ações governamentais, os meios, as formas e os conteúdos das informações que foram disseminadas naquela época apresentam um espectro, até certo ponto, comum com as experimentadas diante da eclosão do coronavírus. Neste sentido, o presente capítulo busca analisar e discutir ambos os casos. Para tanto, o trabalho de natureza bibliográfica se pautará nos estudos de linguagem em diálogo com a comunição em saúde pública.

Abstract:
Pandemics are conceptual events of great magnitude that cause global commotion and reach unimaginable proportions, substantially affecting all social strata. The information and forms of its broadcasting are of fundamental importance, as they contribute to the guarantee of public order, the control of the disease and help to contain its spread. It urges to bring to the fore that little more than a century after the Spanish flu pandemic that ravaged the world, we can see that the behavior of the population, government actions, the means, forms and content of the information that were disseminated at that time present a certain spectrum common point with those experienced before the outbreak of the coronavirus. In this sense, the present work seeks to analyze and discuss both cases. Therefore, the bibliographic work will be based on studies on language studies and public health.
