Abstract: Infodemic is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an excess of information during an epidemiological crisis. This excess contains both true and reliable information and false or inaccurate information, so that both types compete with each other, especially in the virtual environment, causing confusion and difficulty of discernment among the public. The classic theories that model individual behavior in public health traditionally propose certain aspects of individual behavior that can be affected by exposure to false or inaccurate information.
