INFLUÊNCIAS DA ESPIRITUALIDADE NO PROCESSO SAÚDE-DOENÇA: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
O objetivo do estudo foi analisar as literaturas acerca da influência da espiritualidade no processo saúde-doença de pacientes enfermos e na prestação de cuidados pela enfermagem. MÉTODO: Estudo qualitativo, descritivo-exploratório, tipo revisão integrativa. A busca foi procedida virtualmente na Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde, nas bases de dados: MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF e IBECS e no repositório SCIELO, através dos descritores: espiritualidade, cura pela fé e enfermagem, entre os meses de janeiro a maio de 2018. Atenderam aos critérios propostos e foram revisados minuciosamente 05 artigos. Os dados foram tratados através de Análise de Conteúdo em modalidade Temática. RESULTADOS: Observou-se apanhados positivos quanto a aplicação da espiritualidade nos cuidados de enfermagem ao paciente, no tocante ao enfretamento da dor, sofrimento e incertezas da doença, adesão ao tratamento, esperança de cura e de bem-estar geral. Acerca dos profissionais de enfermagem, percebe-se que há uma consciência sobre a aplicação da espiritualidade como instrumento do cuidado, contudo coexistem lacunas em sua aplicação. CONCLUSÃO: Evidencia-se a espiritualidade como um instrumento assistencial eficaz ao paciente no enfrentamento da doença, entretanto, se faz necessário que novos estudos que proporcionem a sustentação na construção do modelo de cuidado, valorizando a dimensão espiritual do paciente e que, ofereçam o suporte teórico-prático ao profissional de enfermagem.

Abstract:
The objective of the study was to analyze the literature about the influence of spirituality on the health-disease process of sick patients and on the provision of care by nursing. METHOD: Qualitative, descriptive-exploratory study, type integrative review. The search was carried out virtually in the Virtual Health Library, in the databases: MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF and IBECS and in the SCIELO repository, through the descriptors: spirituality, faith healing and nursing, between the months of January to May 2018. They met the proposed criteria and 05 articles were thoroughly reviewed. The data were treated through Content Analysis in thematic mode. RESULTS: Positive results were observed regarding the application of spirituality in nursing care to the patient, in terms of coping with the pain, suffering and uncertainties of the disease, adherence to treatment, hope of cure and general well-being. Regarding nursing professionals, it is clear that there is an awareness of the application of spirituality as an instrument of care, however gaps in its application coexist. CONCLUSION: Spirituality is evidenced as an effective assistance tool for the patient in coping with the disease, however, it is necessary that new studies that provide support in the construction of the care model, valuing the patient's spiritual dimension and that offer support theoretical-practical to the nursing professional.
