Abstract: Dengue is a globally significant arboviral disease whose incidence has increased markedly in recent decades. Evidence suggests that climate change directly influences the transmission dynamics of the disease, particularly through environmental variables that affect the life cycle of Aedes aegypti. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between climatic factors and dengue incidence across different geographic regions. An integrative literature review was conducted, selecting articles published between 2019 and 2024 from major scientific databases. The results indicate that rising average temperatures, changes in precipitation and humidity patterns, and the intensification of extreme weather events contribute to the geographical spread and population growth of the vector. It is concluded that climate change is a key driver in the current distribution of dengue, highlighting the need to reformulate monitoring and control strategies on a global scale.
