INFLUÊNCIA DA SUBSTITUIÇÃO DA AREIA NATURAL POR PÓ DE PEDRA EM TUBOS DE CONCRETO
Esta pesquisa tem por finalidade analisar a influência da substituição da areia natural pelo pó de pedra na fabricação de tubos de concreto de 400 mm. Para tal, foram executados tubos de concreto com cinco diferentes traços, sendo o primeiro, considerado de referência, e os outros quatro com percentuais de substituições de 100, 75, 50 e 25% da areia natural pelo pó de pedra. Para análise dos tubos realizou-se ensaios de resistência à compressão diametral e de absorção de água. Verificou-se que a resistência à compressão não foi influenciada pela substituição, no entanto, houve um aumento na absorção de água.

Abstract:
This research aims to analyze the influence of replacing natural sand by stone powder in the manufacture of concrete pipes of 400 mm. For this purpose, concrete pipes were made with five different mixes, being the first one considered as the reference, and the other four with replacement percentages of 100, 75, 50 and 25% of the natural sand by stone powder. For the analysis of the pipes, strength tests were performed for diametrical compression and water absorption. It was verified that the compressive strength was not influenced by the substitution, however, there was an increase in water absorption.
