INFECÇÕES RELACIONADAS À ASSISTÊNCIA À SAÚDE EM UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTESIVA: uma revisão narrativa
O estudo realizado trata-se de uma revisão narrativa, cujo objetivo foi de conhecer o que a literatura na área da saúde traz a respeito das infecções relacionadas à assistência à saúde, dos últimos dez anos, no período de 2010 a 2020. A busca pelos artigos referentes ao tema ocorreu nas bases de dados Bibliográficos Especializada na Área de Enfermagem do Brasil (BDENF), Literatura Latino-Americana em Ciências de Saúde (LILACS) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). De 334 artigos encontrados, após a leitura dos resumos, 15 enquadraram-se nos critérios de inclusão e foram analisados, seguindo os preceitos da temática. O estudo mostra que a UTI é o ambiente onde a infecção tem um maior índice e maior predominância, quando comparado a outros setores hospitalares, evidenciando então a importância do conhecimento científico e da assistência de enfermagem qualificada, afim de minimizar o risco de infecção e diminuir a morbidade e mortalidade dos pacientes acometidos.

Abstract:
The study carried out is a narrative review, whose objective was to know what the literature in the health area brings about infections related to health care, in the last ten years, in the period from 2010 to 2020. articles related to the theme occurred in the Bibliographic databases Specialized in the Area of Nursing in Brazil (BDENF), Latin American Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Of 334 articles found, after reading the abstracts, 15 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed, following the precepts of the theme. The study shows that the ICU is the environment where infection has a higher rate and greater prevalence, when compared to other hospital sectors, thus highlighting the importance of scientific knowledge and qualified nursing care, in order to minimize the risk of infection and reduce the morbidity and mortality of affected patients.
