Infância e Sexualidade na perspectiva da História da Infância
O presente estudo objetiva sistematizar alguns fundamentos acerca da
compreensão da história da infância e a sexualidade, com ênfase em um panorama
geral e conciso da construção histórico cultural do conceito de infância, abrangendo
momentos históricos referentes à descoberta deste conceito e o aparecimento da
existência de um sentimento relacionado à criança. A metodologia adotada consiste
no desenvolvimento de uma investigação teórica de algumas obras da História da
Infância e Educação Sexual. Os estudos perpassam informações acerca dos
primeiros relatos relacionados às crianças, suas necessidades, sua posição perante
a sociedade e ao mundo dos adultos, vestimentas e sexualidade até a descoberta
de diferentes sentimentos voltados para as crianças e sua fase de vida intitulada
infância. Através dos estudos, concluímos que a infância se desenvolveu as sombras
da sociedade durante muito tempo, tornando a criança uma réplica do adulto,
refletindo seus interesses. O entendimento da temática da sexualidade e suas
representações refletem a existência de uma multiplicidade em relação à infância e
à criança, de acordo com o contexto histórico inserido. Diante os apontamentos, a
infância deve ser considerada como um conceito historicamente construído a partir
da modernidade, uma vez que a criança começa a ser respeitada de acordo com
suas próprias necessidades, decorrendo assim a um desenvolvimento saudável
considerando todas as etapas de vida, enfatizando com isto, a descoberta longa e
gradual de um sentimento relacionado à infância.

Abstract:
The present study aims to systematize some foundations about the
understanding of childhood history and sexuality, with emphasis on a general and
concise overview of the historical cultural construction of the concept of childhood,
covering historical moments related to the discovery of this concept and the
emergence of a feeling related to the child. The methodology adopted is the
development of a theoretical investigation of some works of the History of Childhood
and Sexual Education. The studies cover information about the first reports related
to children, their needs, their position before society and the world of adults, clothing
and sexuality until the discovery of different feelings towards children and their stage
of life called childhood. Through the studies, we conclude that childhood has
developed the shadows of society for a long time, making the child a replica of the
adult, reflecting their interests. The understanding of the theme of sexuality and its
representations reflects the existence of a multiplicity in relation to childhood and the
child, according to the historical context inserted. Considering the notes, childhood
should be considered as a concept historically constructed from modernity, since the
child begins to be respected according to his own needs, resulting in a healthy
development considering all stages of life, emphasizing with this, the long and
gradual discovery of a feeling related to childhood.
