INDICADORES DE SUSTENTABILIDADE EMPRESARIAL E PRÁTICAS DE GOVERNANÇA CORPORATIVA -PROPOSTA DE AVALIAÇÃO PARA PEQUENAS E MÉDIAS EMPRESAS
Gerar resultados financeiros por intermédio da transformação dos fatores de produção em bens e serviços é um dos principais objetivos de qualquer empreendimento. As empresas responsáveis pela extração e transformação dos recursos naturais passaram a ter seu papel questionado pela sociedade. Logo, tornou-se importante a criação de indicadores que permitam o acompanhamento e avaliação das organizações em relação à sustentabilidade. Tendo em vista que a maioria dos existentes na atualidade avaliam empresas de grande porte, o objetivo do presente estudo consiste em realizar um comparativo entre as dimensões, critérios, temas e subtemas descritos no ISE da BM&FBovespa, nos Indicadores Ethos de RSE e no Guia de Sustentabilidade da Revista Exame, para identificar quais devem nortear a escolha de indicadores a serem utilizados em pequenas e médias empresas para a avaliar a sustentabilidade e atender aos princípios básicos de Governança Corporativa. A pesquisa, exploratória no primeiro momento, serviu para ampliar o conhecimento dos pesquisadores sobre o tema. A análise qualitativa dos indicadores que compõem os instrumentos de avalição, permitiu identificar pontos convergentes e divergentes. A partir da análise dos indicadores e da observância dos princípios de governança corporativa fez-se a proposição de dimensões e temas a serem avaliados para aferir o grau de sustentabilidade das empresas objeto deste estudo.

Abstract:
Generating financial results through the transformation of factors of production into goods and services is one of the main objectives of any enterprise. The companies responsible for the extraction and transformation of natural resources started to have their role questioned by society. Therefore, it was important to create indicators that allow monitoring and evaluation of organizations in relation to sustainability. Considering that most of the existing ones evaluate large companies, the objective of this study is to compare the dimensions, criteria, themes and subtopics described in the BM & FBovespa ISE, the Ethos CSR Indicators and the Sustainability of the Exame Magazine, to identify which should guide the choice of indicators to be used in small and medium-sized companies to evaluate sustainability and comply with the basic principles of Corporate Governance. The research, exploratory in the first moment, served to broaden the knowledge of the researcher on the subject. The qualitative analysis of the indicators that make up the evaluation instruments allowed the identification of convergent and divergent points. Based on the analysis of the indicators and compliance with the principles of corporate governance, it was possible to propose dimensions and themes to be evaluated in order to assess the degree of sustainability of the companies object of this study.
